Launceston-based provider of technology education for students, Bitlink have been running workshops with local schools around computer programming and the ‘internet of things’ with the end goal to design a new technology education kit for schools with associated teaching materials to complement the kits.
The internet of things describes the network of physical objects embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the Internet.
This week our Grade 6 were extremely excited to receive their kits and be provided with an informative lesson from James and the team at Bitlink which included running through a few early lessons to get them started.
