Congratulations to the Class of 2021 for their amazing fundraising efforts for this year’s chosen Walkathon charity, Cancer Council Tasmania, with $70,610 raised.
For 58 years our students have participated in the annual Walkathon, an event often described as a ‘rite of passage’ for the final year at the School.
Headmaster, Richard Ford said the School was proud of the students whose courage to look beyond themselves is inspirational.
“We often hear from Grade 12 how the Walkathon provides the perfect opportunity for students to learn more about themselves as compassionate individuals and as a cohort.”
The entire school has rallied behind the 2021 Walkathon, with key events and activities including an acoustic night, car washing, hair shaving and merchandise sales.
