Arrangements

·       Bus for students requiring transport from the Senior Campus departs 8:50 am

·       Students can make their own transport arrangements and arrive at LAC before 9:00 am

·       Regular buses will be diverted to Launceston Aquatic Centre (arrangements to come)

·       Carnival concludes 3:10 pm

·       Buses depart LAC at 3:15 pm and return to Senior Campus approx. 3:25 pm

·       Students may be dismissed from the pool by Heads of House

Transport Arrangements
Regular timetabled buses to the Senior Campus will be diverted to the Launceston Aquatic Centre. Transport arrangements will be sent out one week before the carnival.

Live Stream
This year we will be live-streaming the swimming carnival thanks to the South Esk Swimming Club. A YouTube link will be available closer to the day and will be accessible via the School’s social media platforms.

Families invited to spectate
We wish to invite families to join us at the Launceston Aquatic Centre for the day’s events and cheer on our students. An area in the grandstands will be reserved for families who wish to spectate. This will be at the shallow end of the pool, where you will be close to the action and see students finish their races. Families are encouraged to wear their students’ House colours to show their support. The LAC Café will be open for food and refreshments.
