You will hear from Lisa Ford and Kara Spence about the latest research linking reasonable risk-taking to healthy child development and the benefits of nature pedagogy, and many practical skills to work confidently with children in natural bushland settings. Notepad and pen. Water bottle. Sunscreen.
Dress for the weather we are outside all day – comfortable long pants and top, closed-toe shoes, warm layers, wet weather gear and a sun hat.
Camp chair if you will be more comfortable off the ground.
