Hannah's Grade 7 Journey

Is this your first experience of boarding?

Yes. It’s pretty good, we get to spend a lot of time with other people from different grades so it’s a lot more fun knowing a bunch of different people.

What has surprised you about your time so far in Grade 7?

How nice the teachers are.

What were you most excited to do in Grade 7?

Art because we got to make pottery animals and I created this cute little whale which I am going to put a plant in.

Has there been anything challenging about starting Grade 7?

At first, there was a smaller number of girls around my age to chat with in the Boarding House. However, I have made friends with other girls across different grades and they are nice.

What would you tell Grade 6 students that are getting ready to join the Senior Campus as a boarder?

It’s much easier because you don’t have to go on the bus early.

Tell us about your best moment so far this year.

Being able to invite my friends to the boarding house after school! Them not knowing the boarding house as well as I did lead to a few hilarious moments.
