As 2025 draws to a close, the Senior Campus reflects on a year of growth, adaptability and connection. Guided by our purpose to nurture, challenge and inspire each and every student, we embraced opportunities that extended learning beyond the classroom and strengthened our community.
This year offered a rich blend of academic, cultural and wellbeing initiatives. From House activities and leadership pathways to inspiring guest speakers and community events, students engaged in experiences that built character and fostered belonging.
One of the most significant shifts was the introduction of our “Disconnect to Reconnect” initiative, which saw mobile phones secured in Yondr pouches during the school day. This change has transformed break times, with students engaging in genuine conversations, strengthening friendships and rediscovering the joy of face-to-face interaction.
Student leadership flourished through peer mentoring, House captaincy and the Grade 11 Step-Up program, while Valedictory Week provided a fitting farewell to our graduating class. Wellbeing remained central, with pastoral sessions exploring digital citizenship, growth mindset and positive thinking. Guest speakers, including Anastasia Hronis and Emily Lahey, offered valuable insights into mental health and resilience. Community spirit shone through the House Singing Carnival and Spring Concert, moments that highlighted student agency and voice.
Our Grade 10 Retreat program extended beyond its initial week with Retreat 2.0, offering half-day reconnection sessions and culminating in a Term 4 celebration. Grade 7 students embraced standout experiences, including camps at Hanleth and Maria Island, PLT Derby Day and Youth Day. The 7/11 Buddy Program, led by Grade 11 mentors, strengthened cross-year connections and reinforced our commitment to community.
