From enquiry to the first day at School, we aim to make the process of you enrolling your child with us as smooth as possible. Below you can see an outline of the steps involved in enrolling with us. At Launceston Grammar, we are small by design. This means that places are limited and some grades may have a waiting list. We therefore encourage you to start the enrolment process as soon as possible.
If you have any further queries regarding your child's enrolment, please contact Enrolments here.

Launceston Grammar is an open entry school. However, an Enrolment Application does not guarantee a place at the School. Places may be limited at various grade levels and we would therefore encourage you to begin your child’s enrolment application as early as possible.
When completing an Enrolment Application, you will be asked to provide:
Before a place at Launceston Church Grammar School is offered to your child(ren) an interview is required. Interviews are conducted by senior staff at the relevant school campus. The interview provides an opportunity for us to learn more about your child, to discuss our school program and outline expectations regarding enrolment at the School.
Based on the outcome of the interview, the Principal will issue a Letter of Offer which confirms your child's enrolment. You will have 14 days to accept or decline the offer.
To accept an offer, you will need to complete the Acceptance of Offer and additional enrolment documentation requested via the School’s online portal. Once documentation has been received and processed, you will receive an email confirming your child’s enrolment status at Launceston Grammar.
Whether your child(ren)’s enrolment is from the beginning of Term 1, or part way through the school year, Launceston Grammar’s enrolments and wellbeing staff will provide a smooth transition for your child.
