Dale became Principal of Launceston Grammar at the start of 2023 with a focus on leading the School community by fostering a future-oriented learning environment and implementing strategic initiatives. Dale is responsible for creating a space where students and staff can thrive, emphasising excellence and innovation. He also prioritises ensuring we live out our Anglican values to create a safe and engaging learning program for each student. Dale leads a stellar team of Senior Leaders who work together to provide a strong framework for School operations, and works closely with the School Board to support their governance and strategic leadership.
At Launceston Grammar we believe our students have valuable contributions to the leadership and direction of the School. Taking on a student leadership role is an important opportunity to develop leadership skills and qualities. We are proud of the initiative and enthusiasm shown by our Senior Campus and Junior Campus Co-Captains, who are ably supported by a team of House Captains, Subject Captains and Prefects.
Each year our student leaders provide a great example to their peers, host fantastic events and mobilise the student body in raising funds for causes that are dear to their hearts.
Our School Board of volunteers provides strategic oversight of the School's Leadership.
