The Launceston Grammar School Board is responsible for the wellbeing of the School, taking or endorsing strategic and financial decisions, and monitoring the School’s finances. The Board is governed by the Christ College Act 1926.
The Board has the following major roles:
The School Board consists of twelve members in addition to the Bishop of Tasmania as Visitor: four members appointed by the Visitor, six members by the Old Launcestonians’ Association and two by the Board of the Christ College Trust.
The Board is supported in its work by four committees composed of members of the Board. These are Finance, Risk and Compliance, Educational Advisory, and Facilities Management.
