Community is at the heart of Grammar, and our Parent Grade Representatives (PGRs) are integral in growing and strengthening the bonds of connection which our School enjoys. This voluntary role serves to maintain communication between parents, while also being a valuable resource to teachers and the grade. The Parent Grade Representatives also facilitate social interaction among families in the school community.
A list of our current PGRs, and more information about the role, can be seen below. Current families can find contact information for their PGRs on myGrammar. If you are a current parent and are interested in becoming a representative, please contact community@lcgs.tas.edu.au
The PGR role is essentially about parents helping and supporting one another with questions they may have about their child's school experience. They may also choose to promote how parents can help to support the School, whether in class or at events. PGRs can also seek support from our Events team when they organise activities, to provide assistance and help make the event a success. Furthermore, there may be opportunities for PGRs to create parent focus groups that will provide feedback on School matters.
