The Launceston Grammar wider community is made up of people generous with their time, treasure and talents. Many of our activities would not be possible without the help of our volunteers who support the opportunities our students and families enjoy. Whether it be through coaching sports teams, listening to little people read, speding time in the archives, helping with School productions, lending a hand on outdoor education camps, helping with School events, or one of many other diverse possibilities, we are endlessly grateful for the assistance of our community members.
Below are just some areas where it may be possible to volunteer. Please note that all our volunteers are subject to the appropriate screening requirements to ensure the safety of our students is always protected. If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch, noting the capacity in which you would like to volunteer, and we will be in touch.
If you are experienced in a particular sport and / or have coaching experience and would like to volunteer some time to encourage one of our student sporting programs, we would love to hear from you.
Please contact Head of Sporting Programs Craig Slavin on cslavin@lcgs.tas.edu.au to discuss the possibilities.
If you would like to support our Junior Campus teachers by lending a hand in the classroom, whether by listening to a child read or helping with an excursion, our Deputy Head of Junior Campus, Lisa Watson, would love to hear from you: lwatson@lcgs.tas.edu.au
If you have an interest in preserving and recording the history of Launceston Grammar for future generations, the team at the DV Gunn Archives would love to hear from you. Please email community@lcgs.tas.edu.au for more information.
