Giving at Launceston Grammar

Philanthropy is at the heart of Launceston Grammar's history, success and values. We recognise that philanthropy encompasses not only financial contributions, but the donation of time, talent and treasure. Our donors choose to give because they know their actions transform lives and shapes the future of our School; ensuring an environment that continues to nurture, challenge and inspire well into the future.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who makes a donation to the School, whether financially, with their time, or by sharing their talents. Below you will find information about making financial donations, and please click the button for other ways to become involved in the life of the School.

'Better Together' 2024 Giving Day

In 2024, the Grammar community united for our inaugural Giving Day under the theme 'Better Together'. Our objective was to raise $140,000 to directly enhance student social spaces fostering interaction and engagement and enhancing the learning journey.

With support from five generous matching donors, the event raised $146,526 in just 12 hours. Overall, more than 210 donations were received.

Planning is now well underway to enhance student social spaces at both our junior and senior campuses during 2025. It has been wonderful to engage directly with our students about how they would like to see their social spaces evolve with this funding, and we look forward to sharing the results.

Our 2025 Giving Day will be announced soon.

Financial Giving

By donating to Launceston Grammar, you are helping us to build our future, whether through our facilities or by supporting students. There are two avenues to make financial contributions to the School; via the Buildings Fund or the Scholarships Fund, and donations can be made as a one off, a regular payment, or as a bequest.

Gifts of any size are greatly appreciated, and all make a significant difference. Donations (over $2.00) to either the Launceston Church Grammar School Scholarship Fund Trust or Launcestonian Foundation Library Trust Fund are tax deductible.

Building Fund

Donating to our building fund will help us to maintain and renew our historic buildings, ensuring that these important spaces continue to support the learning of our students in the 21st century.

Scholarships and Bursaries

Scholarships and bursaries provide opportunities to talented and deserving students from all walks of life to access the transformative educational experience that is available at Launceston Grammar. By creating a scholarship or bursary, you can have a real and immediate impact on the life of a student. There is no greater gift than a quality education.

There are a number of ways scholarships and bursaries can operate. Contact us to find out more.

Bequests

Including Launceston Grammar in your will ensures your donation supports the School into the future without affecting your financial circumstances today. What's more, if you let us know that you have made this inclusion, you will have the benefit of being kept informed of how your gift could make an impact.

Bequests can support any of our philanthropic priorities or go towards an area of your choice. Contact us about creating your bequest.
