We are giving the gift of light through a campaign called ‘Light up Vanuatu’ run by Ipsha.

Earlier this year Grade 1 Gleadow and Grade 5 Bassano (buddy classes) organised a fundraiser which raised $900 to purchase solar light kits.

The kits arrived this week and we were very excited to work together to assemble them.

This further developed our understanding of how light impacts life, linking to our unit of inquiry. We look forward to the children receiving the lights in Vanuatu.
