Dear Boarding families
Well, this is it from me. It seems like only yesterday that I started this journey as the Head of Boarding. It has been two very busy years. I have enjoyed the trials and the tribulations of the role and leave with my heart full, knowing your child is in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. I would like to sincerely thank all of our dedicated staff which include the boarding house tutors, Mark and the Chartwells team, Tim and his Cleaning team, Steve and his Maintenance team, Tamara, Curly and Lucy from the CET team, Malcolm from Enrolments, Jenny and Yvonne from the Medical Centre, Suzie for the Laundry and Corrina for the way in which they have all supported boarding and cared for your child and wish them all a well-earned break.
A special thank you to Mrs Hales for stepping in this term and supporting me with the running of the Girls’ Boarding House. Her years of experience in boarding and parenting have been a great asset to our boarding community and the staff and students have benefited from having her around. On behalf of Lisa and myself, I say a fond farewell and a very Merry Christmas to all of the Grammar boarding families and we wish you all the success in the future with your time here at Launceston Church Grammar School.
