The Launceston Learning Festival will feature on 29 September 2020 with an exciting line-up of activities for children aged 9 to 14 years. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from workshops that will develop their skills and knowledge as they learn from industry professionals and specialist teachers.
Young learners will combine to think, make and share as they explore their interests in a number of areas including the creative and performing arts, design and technology, and sport. A range of learning opportunities will include website and graphic design, musical theatre, baking, origami, and mountain bike trail riding.
The one-day school holiday event will be held at Launceston Grammar’s Senior Campus.
Headmaster, Richard Ford said that the Launceston Learning Festival is perfect for children with a passion for learning and a willingness to try something new.
“We are looking forward to once again bringing this idea-sparking and discussion-starting festival to the city,” says Richard.
“The Launceston Learning Festival flows out of our belief that great learning should be celebrated and shared with the whole community.”
