Grammar Parentlink
Launceston Church Grammar School takes great pride in its strong sense of community and Grammar Parentlink, the schools parent group, is a vital force within that community.Grammar Parentlink has the following goals:
* encourage and foster the involvement of all parents in the activities of the school
* help support the school through fund raising and community involvement
* provide mutual support of parents
* provide an educational and social forum for all parents
* assist with the communication channels between parents and the school.
Participation in any of the committees is open to all parents. Generally these committees fall under the four broad areas of:
* communication
* fundraising
* social activities
* educational seminars
Our Activities
Each year a diverse range of social, educational and fundraising activities are initiated by Grammar Parentlink. These activities include class dinners, quiz nights, auctions, theatre nights, cocktail parties, the fair and parent seminars.
Your Involvement
To succeed we need you!
Volunteers are needed for all areas of the Grammar Parentlink, to serve on the executive, the committees, as grade representatives and in other capacities. If you are in the position to help with any of these roles, please, we welcome your offer and involvement. Otherwise you are welcome to simply come along and enjoy our meetings and functions and meet your fellow parents.
