Annual Giving 2008

Each year parents, old boys and old girls of Broadland and Grammar, staff and friends support Grammar through their gifts to the Annual Giving Programme. These gifts allow the School to direct funds to developments that might otherwise not receive funding.

Your gift is tax deductible.
The Launcestonian Foundation Ltd has been endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). Gifts for building projects are directed to “The Launcestonian Foundation Building Trust” and are fully tax deductible.

Your gift will make a real difference.
We are grateful for the continued support of the Grammar community. It is this high level of participation, through gifts of every size, which is the key to our success. All gifts whether large or small bring us closer to achieving our goal of providing outstanding facilities for our Junior and Senior campuses. Every dollar of your gift will be directed toward the project you choose.

Projects 2008

Art and Music are thriving at the Junior Campus since the completion of the Broadland Re-development Project. To build on the children’s enthusiasm and compliment the new buildings, the surrounding areas are to be landscaped. This will not only beautify the Elphin Road face of Grammar but also extend the arts theme into the surrounding gardens. Plans have been commissioned which include updating the irrigation system, a planting scheme and the completion of a sculpture garden.

Senior School – Drama & Multi-purpose Studio Facility – Stage II – tax deductible
Many would remember the Tom Room Building as a gymnasium. With the growing need for extra class rooms the Tom Room Building is to be redeveloped into multi-purpose learning areas. These rooms adjoin the new drama studio and will provide additional large spaces for a range of uses including dance, drama and indoor sports.

Scholarship Fund
The Foundation Scholarship Fund supports the enrolment of boys and girls whose financial circumstances would normally prevent them from attending Grammar. By contributing to the fund, you will help to build funds to support current and future students and to give these students an opportunity they would not have otherwise had. (* Donations to The Launcestonian Foundation Endowment Fund are not tax deductible).

If your cheque is to be directed to the Scholarship Fund, please make payable to “The Launcestonian Foundation Endowment Fund” and post to the same address.
